Chapter 7 – The Things You Like, How Can I Let Other People Touch Them?

Third Master Jiang opened his eyes wide with disbelief, “What do you mean…?”

Bai YueSheng didn’t wait for him to finish before saying, “Yes that’s right. He’s my lover.”

Third Master Jiang was stunned into silence. Qiu ChangFeng was also startled but then quickly his lip quirked and the coldness in his expression receded, replaced by strong emotions.

Bai YueSheng said apologetically to Jiang Ming, “You saw it already. I have someone I like, I really love him and I only want to be with him, so you need to let me go.”

Even though Qiu ChangFeng knew that Bai YueSheng was lying, but a strong and clearly identifiable pleasure welled up in his eyes.

Jiang Ming looked as though he was going to cry, “Ah Sheng…”

Bai YueSheng said bluntly, “You cannot force feelings so I can only apologize to you. Let’s not see each other again after this.”

After speaking, Bai YueSheng pulled Qiu ChangFeng and quickly left the western restaurant.

This boy on boy dog blood drama was definitely filmed by people, he needed to talk with Ah Jiu and tell him to delete it from online. However he had no idea where Ah Jiu was, probably trying to pick up some girl in some game…

{T/N: “Gou Xue”/”Dog Blood” refers to dramatic, sensationalised news or drama, the kind that everyone is interested in hearing but pretends they don’t…

Also Ah Jiu is Bai YueSheng’s system for those who forgot.}

This is a nightmare! Teacher Bai thought despairingly that ever since he came to Earth, the nightmare has been non-stop!

First it was Jeremy, now Qiu ChangFeng. Bai YueSheng didn’t know which wall between time and space had experienced a problem, and why one after another they all came to this poor, insubstantial little earth world!

If an angry Jeremy could easily blow up whole world, then a dissatisfied Qiu ChangFeng could lightly raise his hand and the whole world would be plunged immediately into hell!

He is the only true demon in the realms of heaven and earth. He controlled and bore all the sorrows and negative emotions in the world. In an higher-order plain he could single handedly destroy three major sects, directly destroying the three strongest powers, resulting in half the world becoming a sea of fire. Imagine what he could do on Earth! This place was just like a defenseless newborn infant, anything he wanted to do he could accomplish just by thinking about it.

Bai YueSheng didn’t want to fail his mission but he understood Qiu ChangFeng too well.  If he let this guy have his way, he wouldn’t stop but would desire more, and hence he needed to nip things in the bud early.

Moreover Bai YueSheng had his own troubles and the ending between him and Qiu ChangFeng in the other world was not a happy one by any means.

Qiu ChangFeng had imprisoned him for twenty years. Although Bai YueSheng was the one who hid things from him first, it was still no reason to treat him in such a way!

Bai YueSheng no longer cared about his meeting in the afternoon and directly took Qiu ChangFeng back to his apartment.

As soon as the door was closed, Bai YueSheng created an enchantment and placed the whole apartment under a protective barrier, nothing could go in or out.

Qiu ChangFeng raised his eyebrow.

As soon as Bai YueSheng finished this he immediately threw off Qiu ChangFeng’s hand. The corner of his lip turned down and the warm emotions in his eyes immediately became cold and distant. The change was like turning over the pages of a book.

Qiu ChangFeng didn’t get angry. He clearly knew that Bai YueSheng was lying before.

Anyway, he had seen Bai YueSheng in a much worse state before. Under the current circumstances, he was already overjoyed to have been let into the apartment.

Bai YueSheng didn’t pay any attention to him but turned around and went into the kitchen and made himself  cup of coffee. As he was adding six spoonfuls of sugar, he managed with effort to make himself calm again.

Qiu ChangFeng had followed him into the kitchen. He was very tall and as he crossed his arms, leaning against the doorframe, he was naturally as good looking as a painting.

Bai YueSheng couldn’t be bothered admiring him, instead cursing him in his heart: A monster that wears a human face!

“Ah Sheng,” Qiu ChangFeng opened his mouth. “I’ve been looking for you for the last 98 years.”

Bai YueSheng coldly snorted and said sarcastically, “That must have been hard on you.”

Qiu ChangFeng had done away with his previous arrogant attitude and instead became warm and gentle with the kind of duplicitous good temper that let so many of those who died under his sword enter the afterlife blind and with regret. He gently said, “I really missed you. Please don’t leave again?”

Bai YueSheng said, “I’m afraid I can’t handle your type of ‘missing’”.

Qiu ChangFeng was treated coldly by him but he still patiently said in a soft voice, “Previously I was the one at fault, I won’t do those things again.”

All husbands after a domestic violence incident say things like this. Bai YueSheng laughed, saying. “I could kill you ten times over for the things you’ve done. But for old times sake I don’t want to hurt you, but if you force me until even those small remaining feelings are gone, then I’ll…”

Qiu ChangFeng couldn’t bear to hear anymore and quickly cut him off. “The scent of people is heavy here, and spiritual energy is low. Can your body take it?”

He was trying to change to topic but Bai YueSheng also didn’t want to talk about their ancient history. He merely picked up his coffee mug and walked towards the door saying, “It’s none of your concern.”

As he walked past Qiu ChangFeng, the other man reached out and snatched his wrist and said softly, “Ah Sheng.” The tone was filled with misery.

Bai YueSheng raised his head and looked at him. “Let go.”

Qiu ChangFeng immediately let go.

Bai YueSheng didn’t look at him again and went directly to the living room. He sat down on the plush sofa and drank the extremely sweet and hot coffee. As his mood cleared, he ignored the tall and handsome man behind him, instead pressing on the remote control and picked a random movie to watch.

This is a new blockbuster that just came out, the plot is a ghost story. Bai YueSheng thought the movie was pretty appropriate for the situation. There was a demon outside and a demon inside the TV, and the eventual downfall and punishment of that demon was really satisfying to watch!

Bai YueSheng got caught up in the movie and it was not until it finished that he realized Qiu ChangFeng was not watching.

Did he leave? No, that was impossible.

So where was he?

Bai YueSheng got up from the sofa. After switching off the TV, he heard the sound of movement from the kitchen.

He frowned slightly. What was this guy up to now? Although he really didn’t want to pay any attention to him, he still needed to be on his guard.

In the cultivation world, he hadn’t restrained him. If he wanted to raise hell then they would raise hell together and then see in the end who was the victor! But on Earth, Bai YueSheng wanted to protect his already very precarious promotion mission!

Just as he was thinking about going over, the kitchen door opened. Qiu ChangFeng had a otherworldly beauty that made it look like he knew nothing about everyday chores but at this moment he had rolled up his sleeves, exposing his long white limbs, and those hands that previously only bore weapons was instead holding porcelain plate. On the porcelain plate was an assortment of delicate and beautiful small snacks.

A heavy sweet aroma that was both familiar and foreign made Bai YueSheng open his eyes wide; “Is this the Thousand Quenching Fruit?”

Qiu ChangFeng smiled and said, “Yes. I know you like it.”

The Thousand Quenching Fruit was an extremely rare fruit of the cultivation world. Actually it had no particular special effect, especially to someone like Bai YueSheng who was a step away from becoming a God. But he just liked to eat it. Mostly because it was extremely sweet. If the macarons from the western restaurant outside the school could sweeten Teacher Bai’s heart, then the Thousand Quenching Fruit could directly send him to heaven.

Qiu ChangFeng asked carefully, “Why don’t you try it?”

Bai YueSheng was slightly moved.

Qiu ChangFeng placed the porcelain plate on the table and turned back around saying, “I also brewed a Thousand Quenching Fruit Wine, you can drink it together with the fruit.”

Bai YueSheng couldn’t resist any longer. Humans died for fortune as birds died for food. He already couldn’t earn any money in this lifetime, so if he didn’t eat good food then he may as well just die.

When Qiu ChangFeng came out again he saw the half the plate had already disappeared and the beautiful man sitting on the high-backed chair still had a dark red spot on the corner of his lip.

Immediately he was pulled into a fantasy about the sweet taste of those lips. Qiu ChangFeng’s heart squeezed painfully.

Bai YueSheng still didn’t pay much attention to him but couldn’t help looking at the swan shaped decanter in his hand.

The liquid inside was a  tempting light red color. It was half transparent, not as thick as red wine, and the taste was much sweeter. It could make the heart and mind both drunk.

Bai YueSheng felt a sense of urgency.

Qiu ChangFeng didn’t make him wait and personally poured him a cup. “The taste might not be as good as before, it hasn’t had as much time to ferment.”

Bai YueSheng lightly sighed and his finger automatically touched the cup. After tasting a mouthful, his eyes brightened and his whole person glowed.

It was only with extreme effort that Qiu ChangFeng was able to resist the urge to pin him down to the marble dining table.

Bai YueSheng had no idea that Qiu ChangFeng had this kind of talent. He couldn’t help saying, “You’ve improved quite a lot these hundred years.”

Qiu ChangFeng laughed lightly. “Back in the past, all the things you ate were made by me.”

“Ah?” Bai YueSheng gazed at him, shocked.

Qiu ChangFeng met his gaze, his dark eyes deep with unfathomable emotion. “How can I let other people touch the things you like?”

Bai YueSheng really didn’t expect this.

Even if he put aside their last twenty years, previous to that they had spent six to seven hundred years together. Although Bai YueSheng was the one who adopted Qiu ChangFeng, after their relationship became sexual, Qiu ChangFeng took over all the day to day tasks. He was the one who arranged the two’s daily meals and living arrangements however because at the time Bai YueSheng was very wealthy and had many servants, he never realized the food he ate was made by Qiu ChangFeng personally.

Seeing that his attitude had relaxed significantly, Qiu ChangFeng pressed closer and raised his hand to touch the corner of Bai YueSheng’s lip. “Eat slowly, if you like it then in the future I can…”

Before he could finish speaking, Bai YueSheng lifted his head and locked gaze with him. He said in a more gentle tone, “Why did you come here?”

Finally he was willing to talk with him properly, and no longer used a cold sarcastic tone to ridicule him. Qiu ChangFeng couldn’t resist any longer and lowered his head and covered those lips which were still filled with sweetness.

“Nnnn…” Bai YueSheng was kissed so much he could barely breathe.

The noise was unintentional but went through Qiu ChangFeng like a shock of electricity. He released his lips and began to kiss lower, towards the pointed chin and then towards that delicate and beautiful neck…

Suddenly Qiu ChangFeng froze. He stared fixedly at the rose red mark on the white skin.
