Chapter 55

To be completely honest… he really hadn’t noticed.

The meal went by silently. Bai YueSheng was shocked to see all their tastes were the same and they themselves were also very shocked.

But very quickly their thoughts began to change and they began to feel unhappy.

The more similar they were, then the more it seemed to prove something.

For example Qiu ChangFeng would think, when Bai YueSheng was with him, did he see Jeremy through him?

Neil would think, is the one Bai YueSheng likes Jeremy or Qiu ChangFeng?

Lance would think, was it because he was similar to these people, so that’s why Ah Sheng agreed to foster him?

Bai YueSheng was floored to discover that his taste in choosing boyfriends was so consistent!

If he didn’t put them together then he really wouldn’t have known… but actually he was a very consistent type of stamp collector!

After eating, Bai YueSheng got up the courage to discuss how to live on earth for these twenty years.

Everybody didn’t want to make things difficult for him so they proposed they would find their own places to live.

Bai YueSheng thought this was a pretty good idea. At least this way he would be able to have a castle to live in sometimes…

Thinking of this made him think of another matter and he hurried to say, “Jamie. You can live with me.”

These words were too maddening. The other three people immediately turned around.

Bai YueSheng hurried to explain, “Jeremy and I have a marriage contract so our assets are co-owned. That means on Earth his wealth can also not exceed 1 million, so….”

Saying it like this made it even more maddening. The other three were already united in wanting to kill this “ex-husband”…

However his Majesty the Emperor didn’t look ruffled. He said softly, “Okay. I’ll live with you.”

Bai YueSheng laughed awkwardly. He tried to smooth things over by saying, “The rest of you don’t have any wealth limit so you can buy whatever car or house you like.”

Neil was the first one to realize. He smiled slightly and said, “That’s right. I’ll arrange it well, that way you can live more comfortably.”

Lance immediately followed on. “En, that way I can also prepare food more easily. Everything in this world is too ordinary.”

Qiu ChangFeng smiled. “I will move the Luo Qin Palace here.” That was the place that Bai YueSheng lived while in the cultivation world…

Bai YueSheng was really made speechless by these guys.

Each ex-boyfriend was more wealthy than the last. Except for the pitiful His Majesty the Emperor who because of their marriage, could only live in a rented apartment….

Now he felt sorry for Jeremy!

After this extremely nerve-wracking day passed, because Bai YueSheng still had to go to class the next day so everyone parted. Jeremy and him returned to the rented apartment, and the other three people went to select their own housing.

Finally things quietened down. Bai YueSheng already felt exhausted.

Because making love would result in leaving, and leaving meant that it would take another three to five days to come back.

Since there was so many rivals about… this group of people all made up their minds to not touch Bai YueSheng. At least he could be happy about this, since it meant he didn’t have to die on the bed again.

Bai YueSheng slept well for one night, not aware that his family’s system was worried to death about him.

Ah Jiu used all the contacts he had in the Time and Space Bureau and finally found some information about Gong Yi’s identity. It made him totally shocked.

He wasn’t just high level management. He was one of the founding members!

The guy who passed on the news to him told him repeatedly to be careful and definitely not anger this big boss.

Ah Jiu was really conflicted. Had he offended Gong Yi? Not yet currently. But what if Gong Yi bullied Xiao Bai? He couldn’t stand that and would have to act! Ai, it was lucky that he hadn’t confessed to Zero baby, otherwise he might drag him down with him.

Ah Jiu carefully reviewed the time Bai YueSheng had spent with Wei Zhen. Looking at it from another perspective, he could see a lot of suspicious things.

For example, between the ages of twenty and forty-five Wei Zhen didn’t seem to change at all. Also Wei Zhen apparently didn’t come from a prominent background, however all of the things he wore and used were top-level. Anything he wanted he could also obtain easily. Thus he didn’t seem to care about anything.

The only thing that he ever seemed to care about was Bai YueSheng. Ever since they met when Bai YueSheng was five, he had never once shown any prejudice towards this child who had genetic heart disease and probably wouldn’t live long.

In fact he seemed to care about him a lot…

Bai YueSheng’s parents were always busy working. If  they didn’t have time to come home, Wei Zhen would take Bai YueSheng to his home. Although his method of taking a care of a child was odd, but from many perspectives, this method made Bai YueSheng very happy.

Because although he was only xx age, Bai YueSheng was a very proud child. Although he had never gone to school and had always remained at home, so his body was so weak that a few steps would make him puff, however he had strong pride and self-respect. He disliked pity and didn’t like to be coddled, it really made other people’s hearts ache.

Only Wei Zhen treated him like a healthy child, and someone with a full life.

His normal manner and conduct was eye-opening to Bai YueSheng. Probably  because of his, he slowly came to like this mature cold man whom it was difficult to get close to, but at the same time possessed untold charisma.

Ah Jiu didn’t really understand because before Bai YueSheng became an adult, Wei Zhen had always treated him like his neighbour’s child. He tolerated him and guided him, and watched him grow up carefully.

It was completely the guise of a father… or at least an older brother. There wasn’t any type of romantic feeling.

Not until Bai YueSheng revealed to him his love and admiration.

Wei Zhen gave Bai YueSheng the cold shoulder for two years. Then suddenly he came back and got together with him.

That time to Bai YueSheng was probably the sweetest and happiest time of his life. He was completely immersed in a sea of light and joy.

This happy time passed like the blink of an eye. Three years later Wei Zhen left and when he came back, he brought a fiancee with him.

From that day Bai YueSheng’s nightmare began.

Such a dog blood and cliched dramatic story, but still it was carved into his bones.

Ah Jiu reviewed it a few times. He speculated that Wei Zhen was probably doing a mission, that’s why he abandoned Bai YueSheng.

But even so, then why give Xiao Bai hope in the first place? If they were destined to not be together, they why let that child who couldn’t live long have so many fantasies?

He gave him hope and then sent him into the depths of despair. What was the point?

Now he regretted and wanted to make up for it? Wasn’t it laughable?

The more Ah Jiu looked the more angry he got. He made up his mind that he couldn’t let Gong Yi bully Bai YueSheng again.

Just at this time, Gong Yi’s voice appeared in his consciousness. “I don’t need to do any mission. The reason I went to that world was because….”

He spoke slowly. The shock in Ah Jiu’s heart continued to rise. In the end he almost couldn’t speak. “Why don’t you tell this to Xiao Bai?”

Gong Yi paused. “No matter what the reason is, it was still me that abandoned him.”

Ah Jiu: “However…”

Gong Yi said softly, “Also so many thousands of years have passed. Does he still remember Wei Zhen?”

Ah Jiu hesitated. He wanted to speak but Gong Yi said, “If he does remember.. then Jeremy, Qiu ChangFeng, Neil, Lance, what are they?”

Gong Yi’s voice was very placid. “He’s already walked out from under that shadow. Why should I drag him in again?”

Ah Jiu’s voice was hoarse. He was silent for some time, then couldn’t help saying. “When what do you want to do now?”

Gong Yi didn’t hide things from. “No matter who he likes out of these four people, once he’s made his decision, I will get rid of the rest.”
